People need the Lord!
My son John posted the following message on Facebook this morning. I felt to share it with you since it goes along with my message and the enclosed pictures.
"There is a lot of fear and uncertainty in our world today. Gas and food prices are skyrocketing. The costs of other goods and services are climbing dramatically. Supply chain shortages seem to be here to stay. To top it off, the stock market fell 1,000 points last week!
I myself have been dealing with a lot of stress and worry lately. It seems like playing a game of 'whack - a - mole.' Just when I get one problem solved, another jumps up.
Yet in the middle of all this fear and uncertainty, Jesus tells us not to worry. He tells us that worrying about life is what the Gentiles do (those who have not been grafted into Christ and His redemption).
Instead, we are told to, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…”
We are to go about advancing God’s kingdom.
How do we do this?
We do it by reading the Bible, prayer, fellowship with believers, witnessing to the lost, and helping with church programs which endeavor to reach more people for Christ.
When we do this, Jesus says that, “…All these things shall be added unto you.”
So if we take care of God’s kingdom, He’ll take care of our worries, problems, or fears." (end of John's message)
This past Saturday, John and I had a wonderful time passing out Chick tracts and evangelizing the lost.
Here are some pics depicting our outdoor evangelism.
May they stir you to reach the lost in your neighborhood.
May God Bless His Word,
Connie
