The preview to the article stated - "Is it just a coincidence that reproductions of the arch that stood in front of the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria are going up in New York and London on the precise day when the Feast of Moloch is celebrated and when 'the Blood Sacrifice to the Beast' begins?..." Then the article went on to say - "It turns out that the exact day when reproductions of the arch that stood in front of the Temple of Baal are going to be erected in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London is also the exact day when a very important occult festival related to the worship of Baal begins."

In the world today, a "movement" is ensuing at the present hour. You can actually feel it - that is, in the spirit realm.
People are either "turning to the Lord Jesus Christ" or "turning" to Satan and evil. They are either drawing closer to the Lord or they are drawing further away from Him. They are either growing more godly or more ungodly.
Throughout the Bible, we read of the "call" to "turn to the Lord." Here are some examples -
Deuteronomy 30:10 says - "If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul."
Ezekiel 18:30 says - "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin."
Hosea 12:6 says - "Therefore turn thou to thy God... and wait on thy God continually."
Joel 2:12-13 says- "Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all your heart...And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God..."
"Turn to the LORD"
- Saint of God, are you hearing the call?
The Holy Spirit is saying that it is "high time" - "time" like never before - to make a thorough "turn" - a turning of the entire soul - a looking away from the world and a looking Godward.
It is a "call" to return to an allegiance to God as Lord and Ruler...a return to a dependence on Him as Father and benefactor...a return to a devotedness to Him as highest end...and a return to Him as God in covenant. It is a "call" to return to Him from all that stands in opposition to Him or competition with Him - "with all thine heart, and with all thy soul."
"Turn" so as to lean on Him...hope in Him...draw near to Him in faith...and seek Him faithfully and fervently. It signifies a turning from idols and all vain confidences, and through grace, renouncing the ways of sin and the course of this world.
Let your "turning" be immediate, sincere, inward, and sorrowful. "Turn to Him" in your thoughts, affections, and will.
And, in your "turning," be sure to "wait on Him continually" - in all occasions and conditions. Depend on Him alone and always - without doubting, fainting, failing, intermission, ceasing, or exception of time. Whereas before you looked to other sources for relief, look to Him alone and always for the supplies and help of which you stand in need.
It is not a "turning" from one doctrine, Church, or habit to another (although it may include that). It is a "turning to God" - making Him the centre of your focus.
It involves definite action - for example, the drunkard must give up his drink...the thief must cease to steal... the liar must stop his lying...and the blasphemer must cease his swearing or cursing.
Evangelical preacher - Franklin Graham - has warned that America - like the Babylonian Empire - may also be "staring down at its end, unless it turns back to God." Graham wrote on Facebook Sunday - "What's the writing on the wall for America? As a nation we are found lacking because of sin and disobedience to God's Holy Word. We have not honored Him. If we don't turn back to God, I fear that our end will be near."

Once again, we ask you - do you hear the "call"?
Some do, but unfortunately many are following the "call" of the culture and "turning"away to other things.
Many are "turning aside out of the way" which God commanded "to go after other gods" (Deuteronomy 11:28). Believe it or not, they are "turning" from the one true and living God - Jesus Christ - to them that are not gods. They are praying and looking for help and assistance to false and impotent ones. They are "turning unto idols" (Leviticus 19:4) which are of no worth and value... no consequence and importance... and no avail and usefulness.
These "idols" are nothings. The Apostle Paul told us so in 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 when he wrote - "...we know that an idol is nothing in this world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of Whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom are all things, and we by Him."
Let me make it plain and clear - if you call yourself a Christian and are praying to anyone other than the Father in Jesus' Name, you are guilty of "turning aside out of the way...to go after other gods." You are not to show adoration or give homage (that which alone belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ) to any other person - whether dead or alive. God's Word strongly prohibits this!
Besides "turning unto idols," many are "turning again unto folly." (Psalm 85:8) They are going back to their former course of sin. They are neglecting God's warnings and relapsing into what is wrong. They are going back to self-pleasing...turning back to old ways and bondages ...and taking their own independent course.
It is having a distorting influence on their mind - perverting their judgment ...darkening their intellect ...and causing them to disregard known consequences.
For example, we are finding the one who sins in spite of the warnings, reason, or experience - hoping that he can seize "the pleasures of sin for a season" (Hebrews 11:25) and yet escape its eternal consequences. Then there is the one who sins with "open eyes" - knowing the dangers involved but flatters himself into thinking that he can stop in time. You also have the one who knows "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23) yet listens to the tempter say - "You shall not surely die" - and actually counts on not being paid. Lastly, there is the "thirsty traveler" who knows the "spring" is "poisonous" and sees the whitened bones of those who encamped near it, yet tells himself - "just one drink won't hurt."
Along with those "turning again unto folly" are the numbers "turning aside unto their crooked ways." (Psalm 125:5) They are the ones who leave the straight path to wander in forbidden ways. They are the unfaithful...the wavering...the half-hearted...the backsliders...the rebellious...and the hypocrites. They are also the ones who do not throw themselves over to heathenism per se, but cast in their lot with the ungodly in order to prevent trouble or extricate themselves out of it.
They can also be numbered among those who "turn aside to the right hand or to the left hand." (Deuteronomy 5:32) Knowing that the way of truth and righteousness is a right line and a straight way, they choose the crooked or devious path. They do not walk in the way of God's commandments. Instead, they depart from them. They deviate from what God's Word directs.
And, lastly, we find many who are "turning again to weak and beggarly elements." (Galatians 4:9) They are "turning" to that which has no power to save or cleanse the soul...justify the sinner before God... rescue from condemnation...or impart spiritual riches. Instead of looking to Jesus and what He did on the Cross of Calvary for salvation as well as sanctification, they are "turning" to that which cannot give life, righteousness, peace, joy, comfort, or salvation nor counteract sinful habits - that is, religion...the Law...rites, ceremonies, feasts, rituals... good works...or self-will.
It is interesting to note that John the Baptist was the means in the hand of God of "turning many to the Lord their God." Luke 1:16 tells us of him - "And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God."
Alexander MacLaren had this to say in response - "Only such a man can effect such a change, in a time of religious decay, as to turn many to God. It needs a strong arm to check the downward movement and to reverse it. No one who is himself entangled in sense, and but partially with God's Spirit, will wield great influence for good. It takes a Hercules to stop the chariot racing down hill, and God's Herculeses are all made on one pattern, in so far that they scorn delights, and empty themselves of self and sense that they may be filled with the Spirit."
Oh, how we need John the Baptists in our day! How we need for God to raise up His Herculeses in this day and hour of spiritual decline in which we are living.
