There is a video in this update that you do not want to miss! Watch for it!
********************
From the start, I want to share an unexpected need that has come up at Walking In Truth Ministry. My laptop computer that I have used over the past 8 years is on its "last leg" - so to speak. When I turn it on or even sometimes while it is running, it will make loud noises. I have a feeling that it is presently operating on a "prayer." God is keeping it going until I get a new one. And I feel the Holy Spirit is saying that this is the "time" to get a new one.
This computer has alot of "miles" on it. So much ministry for the Lord has come out of it.
I am not one to play games, watch movies, or get involved in other activities while using my computer. I am not against that. It is just that I am totally "obsessed" with my calling and work of teaching and preaching the Word of God. My computer with all of its Bible Study tools and Bible programs bears this out.
At this time, I know that many are looking for a "need" to meet at Christmas.
When my husband Carl was alive, that was always his burden - to not just give gifts to each other as a family, but to always seek to bless someone else in "need" for Christmas.
And, I am sure that many of you feel the same way.
That is why I am sharing our "need" as a ministry. The price of laptops is considerably low at this time. The competition among suppliers is "intense." So we want to take advantage of the seasonable sales.
I know that Jesus will provide a new computer for me. He already told me He would. And He told me to present this "need," and He would do the rest.
For some of you, God has blessed you greatly this past year, and you feel the desire or "grace from God" to be a blessing in return.
There may be one who can cover the entire cost of the computer. Or perhaps you feel that you would like to join together with others to see this "need" met.
I can assure you that your monies sent for this "need" will be used for the furtherance of the Gospel around the world! I can promise you that!
You can make your check out to - Walking In Truth Ministry - and then be sure to designate on the check that your offering is for the laptop computer - if indeed you want to be a part of seeing thi s "need" met.

To all those who faithfully support us every month with your financial gift, we want to say - "Thank You" - from the bottom of our hearts. Now for the video that I did not want you to miss -
Hours after Carl took his last breath in the hospital and went to be with Jesus, John and I came home and walked into a house that felt so "empty" because our "threefold cord" (Ecclesiastes 4:12) (as Carl always called it) was now broken, and we were left with the two of us as a family remaining.
That night, John and I could not sleep thinking about the preciousness and brevity of life.
At that point, nothing earthly mattered to us. We weren't thinking about how much money we had in the bank, what vehicle we were driving, how many possessions we owned, getting ahead in life, or our next ambition, dream, or destiny to fulfill.
We were thinking about one of the greatest treasures given to mankind from God Almighty, and that is the gift of life.
Carl's life was a great treasure to us, and a great loss to be without.
At this time of Christmas, I am praying that all who read this update will treasure first and foremost the gift of "life" as given to us all by the Father in His Son Jesus Christ.
Jesus came to give us life! In John 10:10, He said - "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
So I plead with you - if you are not already doing so - be sure to treasure your life and live it to the fullest for Jesus!
I am also praying that you will not get involved in the world's stress over this Christmas season. Be mindful of its pull!
Be sure to treasure life all around you - especially in those closest to you - your family and friends!
You never know when they will be taken from you! Enjoy them - as God's precious gifts to you - while you can!
Lastly, I ask everyone of you to click on the link for the YouTube video below. Someone on Facebook sent it to me, and it blessed me beyond measure.
(If for some reason, the link does not work, go to www.youtube.com and search for - "Count Your Blessings This Christmas!")
(Allow me to add that, by using this video, I am in no way endorsing the business mentioned at the end. The "message" of the video is all I endorse.)

Be sure to count your blessings, and while doing so, have a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you ahead of time for all your financial gifts sent for this ministry's needs,
Connie
