past two weeks.
The weekend before Christmas, my computer was "hit" with a virus. This virus would not allow me to update my current Windows program.
The following day, my battery died and shortly after that, my hard drive died as well (I could still operate my computer without a battery but not without a hard drive.)
I immediately took my computer to my computer tech the Monday before Christmas.
He conducted every diagnostic test imaginable. He also replaced the hard drive - doing everything possible to save my files, folders, downloads, apps, etc.
Believe me when I say that my computer is "loaded" with all of my ministry "tools" - commentaries, messages, study books, etc.
I finally got my computer back on New Year's Eve. However, when I turned it on, I couldn't get on the Internet. (Can't do too much when you cannot get on the Internet.) Apparently, one of the cards inside popped out and was not functioning well with the new hard drive.
I had to immediately take the computer back to my technician. Now to wait again...
It was yesterday (Saturday - 1/3/15 - late afternoon) when my computer tech called and said the computer was ready to go. As a last resort (but it turned out to be the only way to go), he had to re- instal Windows. The Good News is that just about all of my data transferred over and was not lost. How I thank God for that!
Out of all the things on my computer, I did lose all of my Bible programs - commentaries, study books, Bible apps, etc. Prayerfully, I will be able to download them again and recover all that was lost.
To be honest with you - this was a very hard and difficult trial for me. However, the Lord did speak to me through it all.
The first thing He assured me of was that I am having a great impact across the globe through my messages. That is why Satan attacked in the first place.
Secondly, He spoke to me so clearly and then confirmed it many times over that - "all things" - will work together for my good through this. (And I am already seeing this come to pass.)
Lastly, on Friday (the day before I got my computer back) I found in my studies a very interesting fact that spoke so clearly to my heart and I feel will be beneficial for many of you.
In Philippians 4:5, the Apostle Paul wrote - "Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand." Those particular words - "The Lord is at hand" - were a special watchword of the early church in the time of trouble. They meant essentially this - "We are about to be delivered!"
When I read those words, I felt so strongly that God was speaking to me that I was about to be delivered from this "snare of the fowler."
Within 24 hours (of reading these words), I had my computer back - up and running once again.
Perhaps you are going through a fiery trial at this time. It seems as though Satan is relentlessly attacking you from all sides. You don't have any idea when your deliverance is coming. The matter is totally out of your control. From day to day, all you can do is - wait - for God's intervention.
I feel that JESUS wants me to tell you - "The Lord is at hand!" You are about to be delivered! Your breakthrough is on its way! By faith, receive your Miracle!
What the Lord did for me, He will do for you!
One thing is for certain - God is taking us (Walking In Truth Ministry) to higher levels in the spirit. Will you go with us?
We covet your prayers as we launch into "new territory" through each written and audio message - on our journey of "growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
In the meantime, allow me a few days (before my next message) in order to tend to some administrative work in closing out the old year and also in getting my Bible programs back.
Happy New Year! The Lord is at hand!
