In the Church today, we have what is called life coaches and motivational speakers.
A life coach is someone who helps you identify your goals and develop an actionable plan to achieve them.
The motivational speaker gives pep talks. He makes speeches intended to motivate or inspire an audience.
The Biblical preacher stands in opposition to these.
Paul was a Biblical preacher.
The principal subject of his preaching (as it should be for all preachers) was "CHRIST."
"CHRIST" was the matter and great end of his preaching.
The Pulpit Commentary said it well - "Not self, but the Lord."
Our pulpits need to be made rid of the life coaches and motivational speakers and be filled once again with that which is Scriptural - that is, the Biblical Preacher.
Here is my new Bible Video.
